Using the idea from this site I made a remote focuser for my Coronado PST. Battery Free Electric Focuser
I mounted the servo to the PST with two strips of Velcro and made pulley
from two servo wheels. Luckily after a lot of digging around I found
an O-Ring that was just the right size. This will be a great help when
I'm 'under the hood' while imaging.

There has been much recent news about sun spot AR1748. This sun spot is reported to be small but extremely active and it is about to line up on the Earth.

The middle bottom of the image - AR1745 and top right of center - AR1748. AR1748 is reported to be smaller but obviously quite active. Corrected orientation would be CCW approximately 110°. Settings - Gamma 63, Gain 463, Exposure 1/91, Coronado PST Double Stacked. Second image corrected orientation.

About one month ago I purchased a Coronado PST and SME-40 (second stack). I am hooked on solar viewing and now I am starting to learn about solar imaging. For imaging I purchased a DMK 21 Mono camera. Below is a sample of one of my first images.

And a close up of this area.
