My partner Mike will be going away on holiday soon and hopefully my skies will clear so that I can provide more solar images.  Mike has been doing a wonderful job getting great solar images in the last few weeks.  Right at this moment the sun has gone quiet but hopefully the solar activity will pick up by this weekend.  See this article titled 'Quiet Sun' on Space Weather.com.  http://spaceweather.com/

Solar Images April 25 2015

I had a chance to grab a few quick captures yesterday , A huge prom coming into view and and AR 2331 & 2332 on their way around the limb . This could be my last post until July as I will be a long way away from my scopes for the next couple of months . Hopefully Bill's sky's clean up soon , I am missing his images !

More April Sun Finally

It has been more than 2 weeks since I have been able to do this and I had a fairly decent day yesterday , it was a late start so unfortunately the barlowed shots turned out a bit soft and lacked detail  Nice to have temperatures above freezing for a change .
