Images From April 24 2014
I had another clear sky day on the 24th and the viewing conditions were a bit more steady from what I have had . Spring is finally here and it sure is nice to be out doing this in warmer temperatures .

Images From April 23 2014
I had clear sky again yesterday but the viewing was poor again with some wind to deal with as well . The sun was not as active as it was during my last shoot but there was still lots to view and image . These were all done with my PST / SkyWatcher 100 mod , I am still waiting for a rare good seeing day to see how well this one does in good conditions .

Here is the next solar tool that has caught my and Mike's eye.
DayStar Quark Filter
I'm waiting on some other solartics to be on the bleeding edge on this one. Of course I will need to be able to see the sun again to make use of it.
I would add that DayStar's idea of cheap and my idea of cheap are different.

Easter Weekend Solar Images
The weather has not been cooperating for Bill out there in Idaho . Mine has not been too much better but I did manage to get a few shots on Saturday of the Easter weekend . My sky was clear but the viewing conditions were poor with lots of "boiling" . Not the best images but something to look at and still lots of activity .
Lots of active AR's
A little closer look

Seeing Spots April 17 2014
I had been away from my scopes for a bit and have now returned . I was treated to a day of sunshine yesterday and took full advantage of the opportunity . Sky was clear and viewing conditions were not bad but there was some wind to deal with .
From what I saw yesterday it would appear that the current solar maximum is not over yet .

Here are a few images from April 07, 2014. I have several more videos to check out to see if there will be any good images to add to these. I will try to get what I can while Mike is visiting sunnier climes.
Some of the images are taken with my DMK-21 and some with my DMK-41. The 21 works better when conditions are less then ideal due to it's higher frame rate.
DMK-21 -
Proms taken approximately one hour using the DMK-21 with a 2.5 Powermate instead of a Barlow lens. The shape has changed noticeably.
