Monday Nov 16th was another sunny day in southern Ontario . My temperatures have been un seasonably warm up here for this time of year . Unfortunately it has also been cloudy but Monday was an exception . As Bill stated in his last post the sun is quiet right now with no visible sun spots but there were a few filaments and some small proms . Mike

To my surprise today turned into an imaging day. I wasn't about to let it go by. Mike has done an excellent job of keeping the blog supplied with great images.
Bill
Large U shaped filament at AR2452 -
Lower Eastern limb -
The biggest prom that I saw today -
Closer in on the U shaped filament at AR2452 using the DMK-41 and 2.5 Powermate-
Closer in on the big prom unfortunately the seeing didn't really support this higher magnification -
(I replaced the first image in this size. I had one more video and it was a bit better.)
Not a lot of features to image this time. The sunspot AR2449 has dissipated a considerable amount.

November 9 Sun
My conditions were better than average today and it was a nice day to be outside . The sky was nice and steady when I started but the distortion was starting by the time I was finished . Fairly quiet sun compared to what we have had , a couple of small AR's and some filament activity .

First November Sun
Last week was mostly cloudy up here in Ontario ,I did have one sunny day but had to skip it due to a pulled muscle in my back . Yesterday was brilliant sunshine and my back was feeling better so I set up and managed to grab these captures . Mike
