This is great stuff Bill, especially in the way you assembled an instrument saving you thousands off retail. Since I'm a total dunce and have already thown in the towel on attempting anything like this in the future, I might get a bid from Crawford Machine to assemble something like what you have from a parts bin I'll send them. They made a custom flange for me once and they do advertise making custom applications and telescopes.
