This is the first time since the 21st of October that I had the conditions to image and I was just in time to catch AR2192 at the limb.  I guess that there isn't any reason that wouldn't come back around in a little while.  :-)

Here is a huge filament, I mean big,  above AR2192 -  :-)


This is the biggest prom that I saw today, not the tallest but definitly the biggest.  This is referred to as a mound prominence. -


Here is AR2192 up close and inverted.  As sunspots go, this one has been very active and the biggest in 25 years I believe.  With the inverted view you can see the turbulence around this sunspot.
